Carta de recomendación de Octavi Martí
Subdirector, Filmoteca de Catalunya

Letter of recommendation from Octavi Martí
Subdirector of the Filmoteca of Catalonia, Barcelona

"The Filmoteca de Catalunya has been collaborating with Carolina Rivas and Daoud Sarhandi for several years. First we discovered them as documentary filmmakers, then as fiction filmmakers but very interested in dealing with the most urgent reality, and now as inspirers and leaders of an operation in which didactics are mixed with the social. Carolina and Daoud have achieved that more than 25 people whose relationship with cinema was that of a mere spectator have become experts in cinematographic language and, above all, in the moral implications linked to its use. The VIDEOVALORES session held at the Filmoteca of Catalonia on Saturday, October 3 was the confirmation that the path undertaken is good."
